Our policy on Privacy gives you the security and knowledge of safe and private shopping through any of our websites operated by Harfer Ltd:

E-mail data - We only ever use your e-mail address to acknowledge your order and advise the progess etc.  With your permission, your e-mail address is used to inform you of any special offers, promotions or introduction of any products that Harfer Ltd offers through any of our websites.  This data is not shared with any 3rd party.  At any time you would like to be removed from our mailing list, just e-mail us or click the unsubscribe tab on any of our mailers.

Contact data - We do not send brochures, mailers or other correspondence in the post.  All communication is made by e-mail ONLY. In the unlikely event that we have to make contact with you and we have been unable to receive a response to any e-mail(s), we may telephone you, if you have provided a number (optional).   

Credit/debit card data - Making a safe and secure purchase online is our number one priority and to this extent, we have made strenuous efforts to ensure that our online security measures help to safeguard your information. We adopt the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which allows for the encryption of potentially sensitive information, such as your name and address, credit/debit card details and contact details. 

Cookies - We do not use cookies for collecting user information.  Any cookie used is for purpose of your order/shopping basket. 

Data Protection - Harfer Ltd is the Data Controller for the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998, which we comply with.

Disclosure of information -  We may disclose your personal information across any of our managed web sites. In addition, we may disclose your personal information to a 3rd party in the event that Harfer Ltd sells it's business or assets or if they are acquired by a 3rd party.  We may also disclose your personal data if we are under a legal obligation to disclose or for the purposes of fraud protection.

Statement information - Any purchase from any of our websites with show the name Harfer Ltd or prefixed with www on your credit card/bank statement.

Third party sites - Some of our websites may contain links or advertisments to other sites. We advise you to check the Privacy Policy of each site you visit, as we cannot be held responsible or liable for any 3rd party site.
